Preparing work packages and initiating fundraising
Step 5 of 6
Finalize work packages
Goal: Turn your activities into work packages and align expectations with SMART goals for each one.
Once you have created your Theory of Change, a collection of activities has been identified. These can now serve as inspiration for the project's work packages (WPs).
Usually one or two partners are responsible for completing a WP, but aligning your expectations of each other before the project starts is essential, especially if multiple WPs depend on the completion of other WPs.
For this, sit together in your core partner group and develop SMART goals for each activity or WP. SMART goals help ensure that WP goals are clearly defined and attainable within a certain timeframe: Specific, Measurable, Assignable, Relevant/Realistic and Time-bound.
