User/Customer Readiness Level (URL/CRL)
If your project aims to develop a technology or service that will be implemented in society, a good understanding of your future users (or customers, if the idea is to be commercialised) is key. Too many innovations are designed without including future users, and risk not being picked up because the design does not meet the users' actual need.
Use the User/Customer Readiness Level to assess your understanding of your future users' needs and problems, and how your innovation addresses them.

Level 1 is a seed: an early idea. Level 9 is the harvest: fully proven and in place. Pick a level to see what it means and which band it belongs to.
